Do you know what you’re going to do with your degree?
If you love working in a laboratory and like being part of the medical fact-finding process, consider becoming a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
What does a CLS do?
CLSs perform laboratory analyses in all departments of the clnical laboratory, using samples from the human body.
Are there jobs available?
Yes! There is a severe shortage of Clinical Laboratory Scientists in the workforce today due to retirement. There are thousands of CLSs working in the greater Bay Area.
What are the typical saleries?
Starting clinical salaries for licensed CLSs in the Bay Area begin at ~ $100K.
